PROFESSIONAL PROFILES

Cindy W. Skiles, PT, Cert. MDT

Cindy W. Skiles is the President and founder of Teays Physical Therapy Center, Inc. (TPTC) which opened its doors in 1990. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Cindy’s post-graduate education focuses on functional retraining for industrial, orthopedic and sports-related injuries, as well as courses regarding the business aspect of the rehabilitation industry. She is credentialed in the McKenzie Method for mechanical diagnosis and therapy of lumbar and cervical pain and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. Cindy has spent most of her career working in the private practice sector.

A native of Kanawha County and graduate of Dupont High School, Cindy has called Hurricane, West Virginia home since 1988. Seizing the opportunity to provide physical therapy services in her community, Cindy opened "Putnam Physical Therapy" in 1990. In 1994, the business was incorporated and the name changed to "Teays Physical Therapy Center, Inc." Under Cindy’s direction, TPTC opened a second facility in St. Albans in 1996, and in 1998 implemented "Scholastic Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Services," an outreach program to assist with sports injury prevention and treatment in area schools.

Cindy has been honored as guest speaker for numerous community and school programs. She provides education and training seminars in the prevention and management of cumulative trauma injuries for local and statewide industries. Her seminar participants have included South Charleston Stamping Plant, Aventis, Flexsys, Tyler Mountain Water, Mountaineer Gas, Eastern American Energy, American Electric Power, Putnam and Kanawha County Schools, as well as many other public and private organizations.


Jennifer Vance

Jennifer Vance joined the Teays Physical Therapy Center staff in 1998. She graduated from Putnam County Technical Center with a diploma in Dental Assisting. She also attended West Virginia State College. Her experience includes training in reception and managerial skills for the medical and dental professions.

Jennifer serves as Office Manager for the Teays Valley and St. Albans facilities. Her responsibilities include management of human resources, facility operations, policy and procedure development and assurance of physician and patient satisfaction with TPTC’s services. She is a member of the West Virginia Office Manager’s Association, the Putnam County Rotary Club, Society of Human Resource Management, and an administrative member of the Private Practice Section of APTA.


Doug James, PT, OCS, Cert. MDT

Doug James received his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Doug joined the TPTC staff in 1996. His post-graduate education focuses on mechanical spine evaluation and treatment, functional assessment and training, evaluation of golf-swing mechanics and golf fitness program development, manual therapy, and functional capacity evaluations. He is credentialed in the McKenzie Method for mechanical diagnosis and therapy of lumbar and cervical spine pain and dysfunction. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. He is a board-certified orthopedic specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). Doug is a guest speaker for industry and community organizations.

Doug serves as a clinical instructor for PT and PTA students from various academic institutions. He is the program director for TPTC’s Work Injury Management Program, which provides functional capacity testing and work conditioning/work hardening to injured workers.


Erin Wyant, MPT, Cert. MDT

Erin Wyant joined the staff of Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2001. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University. Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University.

Erin is McKenzie credentialed in the mechanical diagnosis and therapy of lumbar and cervical spine pain and dysfunction. Erin serves as an APTA certified clinical instructor for PT and PTA students from various academic institutions. Erin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. Her special interests include orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.


Christin Knell, MPT

Christin Knell joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2004. Christin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance and Health and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Christin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. Her special interests include orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation and treatment of sports-related and industrial injuries. She is an APTA certified clinical instructor for PT and PTA students from various academic institutions. Christin was the 1999 recipient of Teays Physical Therapy Center’s "Allied Healthcare Scholarship."


Jamie Tridico, PT

Jamie Tridico graduated from West Virginia University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Jamie has worked in multiple areas of physical therapy including acute care, outpatient, skilled nursing, home health and subacute medical rehabilitation. She has been an employee of TPTC since 2007.

Her special interests include orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. Jamie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the West Virginia Chapter of the APTA.


Jennifer Phillips Marsh, MPT

Jennifer Phillips Marsh joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 1997 upon graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from West Virginia University.  Jennifer was a stay-at-home mom four years, and then returned to TPTC in 2009.  Her post-graduate education focuses on orthopedic rehabilitation with emphasis on industrial and sports-related injuries.  She is trained in the McKenzie approach for the treatment of lumbar and cervical pain and dysfunction.

She is an APTA certified clinical instructor for PT and PTA students.



Chris Stephens, DPT

Chris Stephens joined the staff of Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2009. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bethany College where he was captain of the basketball team for three of four years. Chris received his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Wheeling Jesuit University and graduated with honors.

Chris is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia chapter of the APTA.  His special interests include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation.




Angela Bills, OTR/L

Angela received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Performance and Health, and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University graduating with honors. Angela is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and West Virginia Chapter of AOTA.


Her special interests and continuing education include orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation of the upper extremity, hand therapy, custom splinting, and treatment of industrial injuries. She is a fieldwork supervisor for OT and COTA students.


Robin McGrew, PTA

Robin McGrew joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 1998. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from West Virginia University and an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Marshall University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Her post-graduate education focuses on the McKenzie Method for diagnosis and treatment of lumbar and cervical pain, wound care and orthopedic rehabilitation of all musculoskeletal conditions.

Robin is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. She assists the physical therapists with patient rehabilitation and provides in-services and education to therapy technicians. She is an APTA certified clinical instructor for PTA students and volunteers.


Megan Cobb, PTA

Megan Cobb joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2003. She has an Associate's Degree in Applied Science from Marshall University. Megan assists the physical therapists with all patient care and rehabilitation. Megan’s post-graduate education focuses on the McKenzie Method for diagnosis and treatment of lumbar and cervical pain, general orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Megan is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. She serves as an APTA certified clinical instructor for PTA students and volunteers.


Tiffany Harless, PTA

Tiffany Harless received her Associate's of Applied Science, graduating with honors from Mountain State University. Tiffany joined the staff of Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2007. Tiffany assists the physical therapists with all patient care with a special interest in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation.

She serves as an APTA certified clinical instructor for PTA students and volunteers.



Tamisha Dotson, PTA

Tamisha Dotson graduated from Marshall University with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She assists physical therapists with all patient care. 

Tamisha is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the West Virginia Chapter of APTA. 






Lesley Hutchison, PTA

Lesley Hutchison joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in May of 2009.  She has an Associate of Applied Science degree from Fairmont State University.  She assists the physical therapists in patient care and rehabilitation services.  Lesley completed a work-study program at TPTC while attending Buffalo High School.  

She is licensed by the State of West Virginia and is a member of the APTA and West Virginia Chapter of APTA.



Denise Lemasters, MS, ATC

Denise Lemasters joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2001. Denise is a graduate of Marshall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health. She is a nationally certified athletic trainer, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the West Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association (WVATA).

Denise is supervisor of TPTC’s therapy technicians and is responsible for their training and continuing education. She also assists in the supervision of students and is coordinator of TPTC’s Volunteer Program. Her professional training and experience allows her to treat a variety of injuries, and she works with the professional staff assisting with patient rehabilitation. Denise provides outreach and event coverage to schools through our "Scholastic Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Services" Program.


Robbie Gordon, MS, ATC, CSCS

Robbie Gordon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia Wesleyan College and his Master’s Degree from Marshall University in Health and Physical Education with emphasis in athletic training before joining Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2002. He is a nationally certified athletic trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) and the West Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association (WVATA). He is a clinical instructor for athletic training students at the collegiate level. He is also a guest speaker for local schools and community organizations.

Robbie is the director of our "Potential Plus" Athletic Performance Enhancement Program and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). Robbie also serves as coordinator for TPTC’s "Scholastic Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Services" Program, which provides high school and middle school athletic training services.


Mike Gibson, MS, ATC

Mike Gibson joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2002. He graduated from the University of Charleston with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. He also received his Master’s Degree in Health and Physical Education from Marshall University.

Mike, a nationally certified athletic trainer, is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA), the West Virginia Athletic Trainers’ Association (WVATA) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He is currently the Program Coordinator for Teays Physical Therapy Center’s Work Injury Management Services. Additionally, Mike participates in the "Scholastic Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Services" outreach program to local schools. Mike also serves as an instructor for the "Potential Plus" Athletic Performance Enhancement Program.


Josh Craigo

Josh Craigo graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine. Josh is an athletic trainer and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and the West Virginia Athletic Trainers Association (WVATA).

Josh assists with Teays Physical Therapy Center’s Work Injury Management Services by progressing recovering workers through a rehabilitation program to return to work. In the clinic, Josh rehabilitates athletic injuries and performs sports injury screenings. He is a member of TPTC’s “Scholastic Sports Rehabilitation and Athletic Training Services” which is an outreach program providing athletic training services for local schools and events. Josh is the Assistant Director of Potential Plus athletic performance enhancement program and an instructor for Personal Potential, TPTC’s personal training program.



Amanda Gollihue, LMT


Amanda Gollihue, LMT joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2004.  A graduate of West Virginia Mountain State School of Massage, Amanda is a West Virginia licensed massage therapist.  In addition, she is also a Nationally Certified Therapist through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.  As a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), Amanda assists the physical and occupational therapists with patients requiring therapeutic massage.  She also has private clientele scheduled by appointment.

Amanda’s continuing education courses include Professional Certification in MotherMassage®, Hot Stone Certification, Migraine Relief and Techniques, Arthrokinetics for T-Spine, Chinese Facial Massage, and Indian Head Massage.  Gift certificates for massage are available from Teays Physical Therapy Center.   TPTC provides swedish, connective tissue, hot stone, neuromuscular, prenatal, postnatal and sports massage therapy.


Whitney Mollohan, LMT

Whitney Mollohan, LMT, joined Teays Physical Therapy Center in 2008.  A graduate of National Institute of Technology, Whitney is licensed by the West Virginia Massage Therapy Board and the Federation of State Massage Therapy Board.  Along with private clientele, she assists the physical and occupational therapy patients requiring therapeutic massage.

Whitney’s continuing education includes courses in therapeutic massage for neck and back pain.  She is also able to perform pregnancy, hot stone, Chinese Facial, and Indian Head Massage.
