SCHOLASTIC SPORTS REHABILITATION & ATHLETIC TRAINING SERVICES

Teays Physical Therapy Center (TPTC) provides medical coverage on the sidelines for local middle school and high school sporting events.

Our NATA certified athletic trainers and licensed physical therapists:

• Provide free sports injury screenings by physical therapists and athletic trainers to assess an injury.
  
  
• Refer injured athletes to their primary care physican or an orthopedist with a written assessment outlining the nature of the injury and care given.
  
  
• Offer free taping, first-aid, on-call injury consultation and guest speaking services for sports medicine classes.
  
  
• Provide education for student trainers during our annual student athletic training day.
  
  
• Select and recognize student athletes of the week for football, basketball, baseball, and softball.
