The TPTC difference
You may be nervous about physical therapy, and that’s understandable. From “What can I expect on the first visit” to “Will it hurt?” you’ll likely have many questions. Our highly skilled and compassionate movement experts provide a personalized, superior care experience, throughout the treatment process – which is broken down into three steps.
What to expect during physical therapy
STEP 1: Assessment & EVALUATION
At your first visit, your physical therapist will take an extensive history of your health, condition and symptoms. Then perform a thorough examination to assess mobility, posture, flexibility, strength and other key factors that will be reviewed again throughout treatment.
STEP 2: DIAGNOSIS & GOAL SETTING
Your physical therapist will determine a diagnosis for your movement-related condition and coordinate with your health care team, as necessary. Then work with you to design a customized treatment plan to reduce pain, promote movement, restore function and prevent disability.
STEP 3: Your therapy PLAN
Your personalized plan may include gentle stretching, exercise, hands-on care and education. Throughout treatment, we continually recheck your progress and work with you to plan for your discharge from PT when you are ready.
Appointments & cancellation policy
New patient and routine appointments are usually immediately available. We make every effort to work around your schedule when reserving appointment times. We respect your time and work diligently to stay on schedule. We appreciate your courtesy and timely arrival for your appointment.
24-hour Cancellation Policy
Being mindful of your appointment time allows TPTC to continue to provide the highest level of care to all of our patients. We require a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Otherwise, a charge may be added to your account.
