There is no better place than TPTC. You are not only treated as a patient but as a person.
While playing baseball for Shepherd University, I dove for a ball and landed on my shoulder causing a bony Bankart lesion that required surgery. Dr. Manuel Molina performed my surgery, and I chose to do my rehabilitation at Teays Physical Therapy Center because of its reputation.
Before therapy, I could hardly lift my arm. I was sore, weak, and had no mobility. Gradually, I began to notice an improvement in these areas. I became able to reach higher for objects and to wash my hair and back. I was then able to get back into my physical training routine. Physical therapy helped me gain the confidence that I could return to the way I was before.
My experience at TPTC was extremely beneficial as I started with the basics to get my strength back. It taught me to be patient which was much easier with the positive support of Rebecca and the rest of the staff. I truly felt as though I got better physically and emotionally every single visit. I have grown in aspects of my life I was lacking in prior to being a patient at TPTC. Ultimately, I feel accomplished and ready to get back to the baseball season where I can use this as motivation for my future growth as an athlete.
There is no better place than TPTC. You are not only treated as a patient but as a person. The staff makes what is a negative experience a positive one. Also, the information given is of great value and can be used to progress yourself on your own time. It is a place where the staff wants you to get better and helps you do that in a positive way.
